In the river past castles and half-timbered towns

Discover the invigorating slowness of a precious time: whether paddling with your own muscle power, sitting collectively in a rubber dinghy or floating in a raft - water hiking on the Werra is simply wonderful!

The Werra is a great river. Castles stand proudly on its banks, the current is gentle and everywhere you can find rare and impressive flora and fauna. Paddling up and down the river starts on 1 May. Then the season will last until October. In between, our canoe rental companies do not only offer boats, but also organize whole tours and real outdoor experiences for individualists, groups and clubs.
